COVID19 HAS SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACTED THE STEWARDS AND OFFICERS OF THE ST. PAUL AREA LOCAL APWU

Over the last week, there have been two positive COVID19 tests for St. Paul MN Area Local APWU, there has also been 7 others required to quarantine until at least October 20, 2020. This means we have limited ability to provide representation during this time period. Our Main Union office remains open. The phone number is 651-778-1637 where our secretaries are still at work. They are not USPS employees and are unable to provide representation. If you contact they can take your information and will attempt to have someone get back to you as soon as possible.
We now have a very limited number of Stewards available to discuss grievance with directly. Please be patient. We are committed to getting back to representing the members of the Local.

The stpaulapwu.org website has an email address grievance@stpaulapwu.org where you can send information or requests. We will be monitoring this address during this time for those who need representation and are struggling to get it. I hope in the coming days we are able to return. As long as our secretaries can remain working we will be able to provide updates at the website and hopefully through these Flash Bulletins.
We were aware of this possibility and were able to get a mutually agreed to extension of 30 days for all grievance time limits with management.
Social Distancing and mask wearing has been a priority for the St. Paul Area Local and even so we have been affected. There is no indication this is getting better. Please do your part and protect yourself and follow the procedures in place at the USPS. It is the best we can do at this time.
